You can go on with the content, or login into the "Create" section to test it (login : admin, password : admin). N.B.:you can not create anything anywhere, follow the obvious layout (page>category>product..).

In XsltCMS, every data are saved in a hierarchical manner (each item has a parent, that has a parent, ...), and a typed manner (each item follows one of the data types chosen by the website owner).

Data types are created when you need a new data type that has a semantic signification (a group of attributes). Any number of data type can be created for a website.
